Ultra Racing fender reinforcement for Honda Accord VII (CL7)

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant bending, deformation and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The fender reinforcement helps increase body rigidity in the mounting area.
