Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Alfa Romeo 164 I

When cornering quickly, braking hard and accelerating, the vehicle’s chassis is subjected to significant loads due to the transfer of the body’s weight.

When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to significant twisting and bending of the chassis, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The front lower chassis brace helps limit unwanted bending and twisting of the body.
