Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Alfa Romeo GTV/Spider I (916)

The vehicle’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight when driving quickly through corners, braking hard and accelerating intensely.

When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This can result in significant chassis flex, body deformation and loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and flex when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower chassis brace helps further link the mounting points and reduce such loads.
