When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can lead to significant twisting and bending of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower chassis brace helps further connect and reinforce the lower part of the bodywork.
