The chassis or body of a car is subjected to high loads during dynamic driving. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, the vehicle’s mass is redistributed, increasing the forces acting on individual parts of the body.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This can cause body flex, resulting in the tyres losing some of their grip. Chassis flex can also affect handling and cause understeer or oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps further connect and stiffen the chassis at the front of the vehicle. The design has 4 mounting points.
