The vehicle’s chassis is subjected to heavy loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes the chassis to twist or the body to deform, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the front section of the vehicle and reduce undesirable body movement.
