The vehicle’s chassis or body is exposed to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can increase up to threefold compared with the other side. This causes the chassis to twist or the body to deform, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps further connect the chassis mounting points and limit its twisting.
