The front lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting and flexing during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. It features 2 mounting points.
During dynamic driving, the chassis is subjected to stress caused by the transfer of body weight. When cornering, uneven loading can create greater forces on one side of the vehicle, affecting body rigidity and tyre grip.
Reducing chassis twisting can contribute to more predictable vehicle handling and limit unwanted driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
