The Ultra Racing UR-LS4-895P front lower chassis brace helps limit body flex and twisting during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to loads caused by weight transfer through the body.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can lead to significant flexing and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace is designed to reduce these deformations and increase the rigidity of the front section of the chassis.
