The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is especially pronounced due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and chassis flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps increase the rigidity of the lower section of the chassis and limit its flex.
