Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Honda Prelude IV/V (BB)

The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant twisting and deformation of the chassis or body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

Ultra Racing’s chassis brace helps limit these effects.
