The Ultra Racing URLA2-1131 front lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting and bending during dynamic driving. When cornering at speed, braking hard and accelerating, the chassis is subjected to significant loads due to the transfer of the vehicle’s weight.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than the load on the other side. This can cause significant twisting of the chassis or body and consequently reduce tyre grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis when cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
