During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the body’s weight.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes the chassis or body to bend and twist, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Bending and twisting of the chassis while driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of this area.
The product is intended for the listed Hyundai Tucson TL and Kia Sportage QL variants with 1.7D, 2.0D or 2.0 engines and the corresponding 2WD or 4WD drivetrain, as listed in the vehicle table.
