The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in considerable chassis twisting and bodywork deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing 4-point front lower H-brace helps further connect the mounting points and limit flexing of the front section of the chassis.
