A car’s chassis is subjected to high loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This causes chassis twisting or body deformation, which reduces tyre grip.
Chassis twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps increase the rigidity of the lower section of the chassis.
