The vehicle’s chassis or bodywork is exposed to heavy loads during dynamic driving. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of the bodywork’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the bodywork to twist and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps further connect and stiffen the chassis around the mounting position.
