The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to provide additional rigidity to the vehicle’s body. The chassis is the part of the vehicle exposed to the greatest loads during fast driving, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to loads up to 3 times greater than the other. This can lead to significant chassis flex or body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace is designed for installation on the front lower part of the chassis and uses 4 mounting points.
Suitable for: Peugeot 2008 II (U).
