Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Porsche 911 997

The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace helps reduce bodywork and chassis flex during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to significant loads caused by the transfer of the bodywork’s weight.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This results in greater deformation and flexing of the chassis or bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flex during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps improve the rigidity of the front lower section of the chassis.
