Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Renault Captur I

The front lower chassis brace is designed to increase vehicle body rigidity. During fast driving, intense braking and hard acceleration, the chassis is subjected to loads caused by the transfer of the vehicle body’s weight.

When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause significantly greater forces on one side of the vehicle than on the other. This results in bending and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, consequently reducing tyre contact with the road surface.

Chassis twisting when driving through corners can affect vehicle handling, including understeer and oversteer.
