A vehicle’s chassis is subjected to high loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace attaches to 4 mounting points.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This can cause significant chassis flex or body deformation, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
Limitation: suitable only for the 2.0T and 2.8T engines in the 2WD configuration.
Suitable for: Saab 9-3 II (YS3F).
