The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Škoda Yeti (5L) is designed to increase body rigidity. The chassis is heavily loaded while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during hard cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in excessive twisting and bending of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps reduce unwanted body deformation and improve vehicle responsiveness.
