The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads due to driving conditions. This is particularly evident when the body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or intensive acceleration.
In certain situations, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can result in considerable chassis flex as well as body deformation and torsion, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace is designed to provide additional support to the front lower section of the chassis. It attaches to 4 mounting points.
