Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Subaru Forester II SG/Impreza I GC-GF/Impreza II GD-GG

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads as a result of driving style. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This can result in significant chassis twisting, or deformation and torsion of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
