A vehicle’s chassis is exposed to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. These loads are caused mainly by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more heavily than the other. This results in greater deformation and chassis flex, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower chassis brace helps further connect the mounting points and reduce unwanted body movement.
- Product: front lower chassis brace
