The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. High loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause significant deformation and twisting of the chassis, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
This front lower chassis brace helps reduce unwanted body movement. It is attached to 4 mounting points.
Suitable for: Toyota C-HR I (X1), Toyota Prius IV (W50).
