Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Volkswagen Polo IV 9N

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking and firm acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in substantial deformation and chassis flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to reduce these effects.
