The vehicle’s chassis or body is exposed to significant loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to significant chassis flex or body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower brace further links the mounting points and helps increase the rigidity of the front section of the chassis.
