The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to bend and twist, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex and twisting can negatively affect vehicle handling and cause understeer or oversteer. The front strut brace helps connect the suspension mounting points and increase the stiffness of the front section of the body.
