Ultra Racing front strut brace for Audi A6 C5

The Ultra Racing front strut brace connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps reduce body flex during dynamic driving.

During fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to significant loads due to weight transfer. When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than the load on the other side, causing the body to flex and twist and potentially reducing tyre grip.

Chassis flex and twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps increase the rigidity of the front part of the body.
