The Ultra Racing front strut brace for the Chevrolet Aveo T200 connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps reduce body flex during dynamic driving.
During fast cornering, heavy braking or intensive acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads due to weight transfer. When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than the load on the other side, causing body flex and deformation and consequently reducing tyre grip.
Body flex when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps increase the rigidity of the front section of the body and improve vehicle predictability.
