The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps reduce unwanted body movement.
