The vehicle body is subjected to high loads during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration due to the transfer of vehicle mass.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause the bodywork to twist and flex, consequently reducing tyre grip.
Flexing and twisting of the chassis during cornering can negatively affect vehicle handling, causing understeer or oversteer, among other effects. The Ultra Racing front strut brace connects the mounting points at the top of the front struts and helps increase the stiffness of this part of the bodywork.
