The car body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater twisting and flexing of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front strut brace helps connect the upper mounting points of the front dampers and increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
