The vehicle body is subjected to high loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can increase significantly compared with the other side. This causes the body to bend and twist, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis bending and twisting during cornering can negatively affect vehicle handling, for example by increasing understeer or oversteer.
The front strut brace helps connect the upper strut mounting points and provides additional support for the body.
