The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during high-speed driving, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of body weight.
When cornering quickly, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to twist and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex during cornering can negatively affect vehicle handling and cause understeer and oversteer. The front strut brace helps increase the stiffness of the front section of the body.
The brace is intended for Lexus GS S190 models with 3.0 V6, 3.5 V6 and 4.3 V8 engines and 2WD.
