The car body shell is the part subjected to the greatest stress while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the body shell, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the body shell during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front strut brace additionally connects the mounting points of the front dampers and helps reduce body shell twisting. The product has 2 mounting points.
