Ultra Racing front strut brace for Mercedes-Benz R-Class W251

The vehicle body is the part of the vehicle most exposed to loads caused by weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more load than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Body deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front strut brace helps connect the upper strut mounts and increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
