The vehicle bodywork is among the parts subjected to the greatest loads depending on driving style. This is particularly noticeable when the body mass is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater twisting and bending of the bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front strut brace helps increase the rigidity of the front section of the bodywork.
