The car body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis while driving through corners can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The front strut brace helps increase body stiffness around the upper strut mounting points.
The product is intended only for the Mini Cooper S II R56 1.6T 2WD, with 2 mounting points.
Suitable for: MINI Mini II (R56).
