Ultra Racing front strut brace for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV/V

A car’s body is subjected to the greatest loads during high-speed driving. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can lead to poorer handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The front strut brace helps reduce unwanted body flex.
