The car body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded with up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater deformation and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front strut brace helps reduce bending and twisting of the front body section. It attaches to 2 mounting points.
