The car body is subjected to significant loads during dynamic driving, mainly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to as much as 3 times more force than the other. This can cause significant twisting and bending of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Body twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front strut brace helps reduce this effect by increasing the rigidity of the front section of the body.
- Design: front strut brace (strut bar)
- Number of mounting points: 2
Suitable for: Nissan Qashqai II (J11), Renault Kadjar I (RFE).
