The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace is designed to reduce these undesirable body deformations.
