The vehicle body is subjected to heavy loads during fast driving, particularly due to mass transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in the body twisting and bending, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can also cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front strut brace connects the upper strut mounting points and helps increase the rigidity of the front section of the body.
