The Ultra Racing front strut brace is designed to reduce body flex and twisting during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. It is attached at 2 mounting points.
The car body is the part exposed to the greatest loads due to driving conditions. This is mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, the transfer of weight when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to 3 times greater than the other. This causes significant body flex, deformation and twisting, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
This is where Ultra Racing comes in.
