Ultra Racing front strut brace for Volkswagen Golf III (1H)

The vehicle body is subjected to high loads during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of body weight.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause the chassis to bend and twist, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Bending and twisting of the chassis while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front strut brace helps limit such deformation of the body.
