Ultra Racing front strut brace for Volvo 850 I (854/855)

The car body is subjected to high loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause forces on one side of the vehicle to be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes significant body deformation and twisting, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front strut brace helps connect the upper strut mounting points and reduce unwanted body movement.
