The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause significant chassis flexing, deformation and torsional twisting of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This six-point front upper chassis brace is designed to reduce unwanted body twisting. It has 6 mounting points.
Suitable for: Subaru XV II (GT).
