Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Alfa Romeo 159/Brera I (939)

The vehicle body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of the vehicle’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. The result is heavy loads, bending and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Bending and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The upper strut brace connects the mounting points in the engine bay and helps reduce unwanted body movement.
