The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of the vehicle’s weight.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to flex and deform, which can lead to the tyres losing grip.
Body flex during cornering can also cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps further connect the upper strut mounting points and reduce unwanted body movement.
